If this bleeding is associated with your normal period cycle, like you should have started that day, then that's okay and it's okay to have bleeding after intercourse if you're having your period. But if you're having bleeding after intercourse and it's not associated with the time when you should have having your period, it would be best to go to the doctor and get checked out. They can ask you more specific questions and perform an exam and decide if there's anything going that warrants further investigation or treatment. As for getting pregnant at this time of the month, if you were truly having your period, then it's very unlikely that you got pregnant at that time because you're most fertile for six days out of the month and these six days-- there's five days leading up to the day of ovulation and the day of ovulation that make up those six most fertile days. Most people ovulate midway through their cycle so while you're having your period, you shouldn't be ovulating and you shouldn't be able to get pregnant.
