And now, finally, I was able to carry out my plans. The design of the ionometer is quite simple: a lightweight frame on which aluminum foil and copper wire are fixed. I used thin wooden slats for the frame. They should be as light as possible and it is best to use balsa for these purposes. I didn't have such a material, so I used bamboo slats. I fixed aluminum foil around the perimeter of the ionolet. It is necessary to ensure that the foil is without sharp edges in the upper part, because in such places corona discharges will occur, which will not allow the ionolete to take off. At a distance of three centimeters from the foil, I fixed a copper wire with a diameter of 0.1 millimeters. A voltage of 30,000 volts will be applied to this wire and to the foil, which is necessary for the operation of the ionometer.
