In his remarks, the Prime Minister also congratulated Iran for attending as a Member of the organization and expressed his deepest condolences for the tragic demise of President Raisi and others in the helicopter crash. Earlier today, India's MEA S Jaishankar met China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi on the sidelines of the SEO Summit. The ministers discussed the issues regarding military movement around India-China border negatively impacting the bilateral relationship between the two countries. Jaishankar laid out India's stance regarding the same as he said that, "Respecting LAC is Essential". This time the SCO Summit is being held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
