From his favorite spot in the garden I asked him when he started keeping Koi. The garden and pond have been laid out in phases. Thomas has devised a clever way to exclude as many risks as possible. He filters his fish pond with two individual filter lines. No unnecessary luxury with a fish collection like this one. Thomas has the luxury of an extra fish pond at his company. There he built his very first pond and received 2 koi as a gift from his mother and gardener. After a short while he found out that his first fish were hiding and not swimming around well. Thomas went to his dealer and wanted to know what he could do about this. The fact that Thomas has a real passion for this hobby is evident from the fact that he has already traveled to Japan 30 times. Once there he really enjoys the hospitality, the culture and the koi.
