It's a traditional iconic item that had won a confirmed spot on every Bengali Wedding (Bangali Biye Bari) Lunch menu. It's so crispy that it's melted the moment it touches your mouth. This side dish is well accomplished with Plain rice and Dal. In this video "Bongo Radhuni" is presenting the easiest way to cook Jhuri Aloo Bhaja and help you win the heart of guests by adding this item to Lunch menu. Ingredients: 1. Big Potato 3 pcs 2. Dry red Chillies 5 pcs 3. Raw peanuts 1/2 cups 4. Curry leaves 1/4 cups 5. Rock Salt 1 tbsp 6. Chat masala 1 tsp 7. Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp 8. Cornflour powder 1 tbsp 9. White oil 500 ml Process: 1. First of all potatoes are cleaned and the skins are peeled off. Use a grater to grate the potatoes from up to the downward direction. Make sure it's a fine Julienne cut. 2. Wash the potato strips in clean water 7 to 8 times until the starch is removed or the water looks clean. This will make the potato fry to be very crispy. 3. Once the cleaning is done, remove excess water and spread the potato strips in a single layer on a dry cloth, and wait until the potato strips are dry. 4. Next we need to prepare a masala mixture. Mix rock salt, chat masala powder and black pepper powder and keep aside in a salt dispenser. 5. Heat oil and fry raw peanuts, fry dried red chilies, and keep them on a separate plate. 6. Next you need to fry curry leaves. Remember that if you add curry leaves to hot oil, the oil will explosively expel in all directions. Be careful. So, lower down the heat of the oil before adding curry leaves and fry for 10 secs. 7. Then add potato strips in small quantities and fry for some time on high heat until it looks light golden. Remember to keep stirring continuously. 8. Once potatoes are fried, mix fried peanuts, fried red chilies, fried curry leaves, and fried potatoes. Then spread the masala mixture prepared earlier. 9.
