Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Detective Bobby Abbott, Jane's ex-boyfriend and a police detective in the Beverly Hills Police Department who becomes Axel's new partner.[6] Kevin Bacon as Captain Cade Grant, a police captain in the Beverly Hills Police Department and the main antagonist in the movie. Taylour Paige as Jane Saunders, Axel Foley's estranged daughter who works in Beverly Hills as a criminal defense attorney. Judge Reinhold as William "Billy" Rosewood, John Taggart's retired former partner in the Beverly Hills Police Department. John Ashton as Chief John Taggart, Billy Rosewood's former partner in the Beverly Hills Police Department. Ashton returns to the role after 37 years from Beverly Hills Cop II. Paul Reiser as Deputy Chief Jeffrey Friedman, Axel's former partner in the Detroit Police Department.
