| Video Discription | This video represents the riverside pooja (Theertha Vari) of the representative of Lord Siva - the idol of Trishul - soon after the Kodiyettam on 8th November 2022, done as part of the routine ritual. The Kalpathy Temple Car Festival which falls annually during the 1st-2nd week of November is a National Festival and is as old as nearly six centuries. The temple is also about six centuries old. The deity of Lord Siva is the original Bana Linga brought from Kashi by one Lakshmy Ammal in the 16th century. So, Kalpathy temple is considered equal to Kashi.
