Each mic is placed around 3 ½ feet above the snare and record the exact same performance. I tried to place them as close as possible to one another. Here's our setup: Rogers 70's drum kit with Zildjan (Avedis and K) and UFIP cymbals -- One of the two mics -- Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 -- Cubase. No EQ or processing is done on the tracks.
