| Video Discription | Michael Zinski of Kennewick, Washington, knows a lot about lapidary - and he should, as he has been in the field for nearly 60 years. The retired engineer started faceting as a young man living in California, and has never looked back. Throughout his long life, he has met many of the people who created modern lapidary through new machines and techniques. Now 82 years old and retired, Michael now volunteers his time working with aspiring faceters who are new to the field. He recently worked with Jim, who viewers know as "Mr. Did" (Kate's husband) for two days, introducing him to the incredible world of faceting. A video of that experience is in the works.
