I don’t remember anything except maybe some pronouns, colors, and “est-ce que je peux aller au toilette s’il vous plait?” So at the start of my 30 day French Challenge, I took a placement test and it put me in A1 beginner level. So while I was not a COMPLETE beginner to French, I was still very much a beginner. I’m also not completely new to Tagalog. I grew up hearing Tagalog through my family and at the start of my 30 day Tagalog challenge, I could understand the language pretty decently, although I couldn’t speak it. So to some extent, no, I’m not a 100% beginner to any of these languages I’ve learned so far. I’ve had some exposure to them and had it pretty easy so far.
