| Video Discription | Dear All, LEGO trains - this time a "Best of Both Worlds" train: 9V and PF. I used #7938 to implement mixed PF/9V elements. PF: The LiPo, the IR receiver, front/rear lights + control car cabin lights. 9V: Modified train motor (power pickup + motor), lights + cbales in the car cabin, cables between the car(s) and the loco/control car. The track is powered with a 12V/5A DC power supply. Don't worry, the PF LiPo is smart enough and just takes what it really wants - 600 mA max. Power is delivered from the modified motor to the LiPo - this train runs on 12V, 9V, 4.5 V and RC track. It automatically charges on 9V track.
