For this purpose, the Bossard SmartBin logistics system was implemented in the converter production hall. Based on the Kanban method, system eliminates mismanagements and improves assembly processes. Fasteners for product assembly are placed in over 200 containers on 3 racks located in key places of the production hall. Weight sensors in bins monitor stock levels. After reaching a defined minimum, they wirelessly send the signal to the IT platform managing the system.
