In ancient times of war in the Far East, the lands of Exilia were overrun by creatures of the night and samurais. Amidst this cruel conflict, only a bloodthirsty cursed knight can bring hope and vanquish the darkness. Lords of Exile will satisfy anyone looking for that simple Castlevania fix without all the Metroid thrown in. Eight stages are packed full of bosses and plenty of death pits to give you that frustrating taste of nostalgia. The good thing, though, is that a checkpoint is always close by. There's not much to the story, so don't expect many breaks in the action. There's 3 sub-weapons and you earn an upgrade after every level. Add this to the list of must-play Castlevania clones...
