Yes, Karan directly said to Hrithik that the actor is most welcome on his show but Yami is not qualified enough to feature. Karan Johar himself was keen on inviting the greek god of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan. But his plans fell through badly as the actor rejected to be a part of his chat show. Hrithik Roshan wanted to promote his movie on Koffee With Karan, but only, along with Yami.Hrithik did not want to promote a movie without his co-star Yami Gautam. As Karan Johar was in all denial mode to invite Yami on the show, Hrithik chose not to be a part of it. The actor rejected his old pal, Karan Johar’s invitation for Yami Gautam.
