| Video Discription | The Marder 1A3 in War Thunder is just pure pain! It's not that it's a bad tank, it's just that it's outclassed by most other IFV's at its BR and below. War Thunder Direct Hit was definitely not named after the MILAN missiles, that's for sure! The Marder 1A3 is a direct upgrade over the Marder A1-. It has DM63 20mm rounds with 60mm of penetration, thermal optics and that's really about it! The issue is that the Marder A1- is 7.3 where it's too low in BR in my opinion and the Marder 1A3 is probably in a sweet spot at 8.0... but it has to face the new Japanese RCV, BMP-2's and Bradley's with stabilised autocannons. Overall, it's a decent little light tank that'll get the job done.
