UiM is designated by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) as those racial and ethnic populations that are underrepresented in the medical profession relative to their numbers in the general population nationally, regionally, or locally. Our hospital-based Diversity, Equity and Inclusion teams worked closely with program leads on outreach to candidates. These efforts helped to achieve the most diverse recruitment in Mass General Brigham’s history.
