| Video Discription | Profile: Ryuho Okawa was born on July 7th 1956, in Tokushima, Japan. After graduating from the University of Tokyo, he joined a Tokyo-based trading house. While working at its New York headquarters, he studied international finance at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. On March 23rd 1981, he achieved Great Enlightenment, and awakened to the hidden part of his consciousness, El Cantare, whose mission is to bring happiness to all humanity, and established Happy Science in 1986. In 2016, Happy Science approached its 30th anniversary since establishment. Members are growing across the world in over 165 countries, and there are more than 700 local branches and temples in Japan and across the world. The total number of lectures has exceeded 3,450 of more than 150 are English lectures. Over 3,000 books have been published, many of which are translated into 40 languages, and have sold millions of copies, including "The Laws of the Sun". He is also executive producer and director of 25 movies, including the live-action movie. Moreover, Master Okawa is also the Founder of Happy Science University and Happy Science Academy (Junior and Senior High School), Founder and Master of the Happiness Realization Party, Founder and Honorary Headmaster of Happy Science Institute of Government and Management, Founder of IRH Press Co., Ltd, and the Chairperson of New Star Production Co., Ltd and ARI Production Co., Ltd.
