| Video Discription | Hi Guys, Do you all remember "The Journey" which was the release title of a series of 8 music videos as well as a documentary from the making of these videos.. What is your favorite song from this Album? Here is one of my very own favorite songs and compositions named “Dishab Mehman-e Yaar Budam.” Let me share a fun fact about this song with you all: I was driving on highway 5 from Los Angeles to San Francisco while composing this song. Back then technology was not that advanced and I owned one of those huge NEXTEL cell phones lol. In a hurry not to forget this brand new composition I was desperately searching for the nearest exit on the freeway. You can just imagine how fast I was speeding at the time. I just couldn’t afford to forget this composition or mix it with another song! The next nearest exit was miles away and I anxiously replayed the composition in my head until I reached my destination. As artists we get “inspired” with such soulful songs at the least expected times and we somehow have to maintain the momentum! Luckily, Aziz jan-e Guman and I I managed to do justice to this beautiful song. When this song was finally released, your response to this iconic song was simply overwhelming! The appreciation my beautiful fans showed me upon the release of this album was a huge motivating factor for me to start writing and composing more of my own songs!
