Join us in this in-depth study of Isaiah 8 as we explore its profound implications for both the Northern and Southern Kingdoms of Israel.
Discussion Points:
Verses 14-15: The Stone of Stumbling and the Rock of Offense
0:00 - 0:30: Revisiting the 14th verse where Isaiah prophesies, "He shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel." We delve into how this prophecy impacted both the Northern Kingdom (Ephraim, the Ten Lost Tribes) and the Southern Kingdom (Judah).
0:30 - 0:57: Understanding why Jesus was a stumbling block to the Jews who didn't recognize Him as the Messiah.
0:57 - 1:49: Discussing how Jesus also became a stumbling block to the Northern Kingdom and what that means for the descendants of Ephraim.
Verses 16-17: Binding the Testimony and Sealing the Law
1:49 - 2:29: Isaiah’s call to “bind up the testimony and seal the law among my disciples” emphasizes the preservation of God's truth through all generations. We explore the concept of the remnant, chosen and anointed by God from the foundations of the world.
2:29 - 3:14: The significance of the remnant, their calling, and how God's anointing is not something earned, but predestined.
Verses 18-20: Signs and Wonders
3:14 - 4:09: Isaiah speaks of the children given by the Lord as signs and wonders in Israel. We reflect on the identity and mission of the Northern Kingdom, often mistaken as the Gentile Nation, and how they are integral to God's plan.
Ezekiel 37: The Reunification of Israel
4:09 - 6:32: Bringing in Ezekiel 37, we discuss the prophecy of the dry bones and the joining of the two sticks—representing Judah and Ephraim. This signifies the future reunification and restoration of Israel as one nation under one King, the Messiah, Yeshua.
6:32 - 7:58: Understanding the current state of division between Judah and Ephraim and the future hope of becoming one stick, unified in the hand of God.
Applying the Prophecies Today
7:58 - 9:21: How these ancient prophecies are relevant to us today, particularly in the awakening of the descendants of Ephraim to their true identity and their role in God's plan.
9:21 - End: Reflecting on how the fulfillment of these prophecies will bring about a spiritual revival, drawing both houses of Israel back to God and creating unity through faith and obedience.
Key Themes:
Identity and Purpose: Recognizing our place within God's plan as the descendants of Ephraim.
Unity and Restoration: The future promise of Israel's reunification under one King, Yeshua.
Faith and Obedience: Embracing our calling to follow God's laws and be a light to the nations.

**********************************************
God is looking for and gathering the 10 Lost Tribes of Israel; also called "the lost sheep of the House of Israel", by Yeshua.
The Northern Kingdom comprised ten tribes referred to as The House of Ephraim or The House of Israel, while the Southern Kingdom was known as The House of Judah, consisting of the Tribes of Judah and Benjamin as indicated in scripture.
The Northern Kingdom committed significant sins against God, altering Festivals and Laws to prevent the people from returning to Jerusalem, a move motivated by Jeroboam's desire to retain his subjects.
Due to these transgressions, God dispersed the Northern Kingdom to the farthest corners of the earth. Their failure to observe the designated feasts and the manipulation of dates and seasons, as ordained by God, led to their scattering.
In the last days, God promised to reunite these Lost Tribes and bring them back to Israel.
