He has a different flavor than before, and I like that they keep changing styles of characters. Ermac is attacking with three "main" souls (a warrior guy, a witch and a demon). The way he floats is like someone uses a dead body as a marionette and it REALLY irritated me at first. I think my brain needs the walking animation of characters to measure range. He also has a very abstract move, like many other characters in this game: He can stop mid-air with D, B 2, and he can do it forward and backward, which only moves him a TINY bit in that direction. At first I thought I was missing something, checked the trailer again, but I guess it's for very pin-point actions. Generally, it's meant to cancel your aerial actions or confuse your opponent by delaying arial moves. I'm too bad in this game to use it or understand it. A very interesting and unique move is his spirit aura, which he can activate with F, D, B 4. As long as his aura is active, instead of losing life from attacks, he loses meter which seems quite powerful. I also noticed that his Brutalities are very simple.
