| Video Discription | World Autism Awareness Day was officially declared by United Nation General Assembly on 2 April, with the purpose of highlighting the need to help improve the lives of individuals with autism so that they are able to lead full and meaningful lives together with the society. This declaration was done after the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities came into force on 3 May 2008, with the intention to the protect the rights and dignity of individuals with disabilities. This significant day is now celebrated on every 2nd April, worldwide. On 1st April 2021, we had the honour to celebrate World Autism Awareness Day as part of our 10 years anniversary/milestone together with Her Excellency, President Halimah Yaacob over at My Inspiring Journey (MIJ) Hub.
