Good: It’s USB C so it works with my Note 10+ and other USB C Android phones and tablets Good: The mic is reversible so all you have to do is point the mic in the opposite direction is unplug it turn it around and plug it back in. Good: The mic comes with both a foam wind cover and a furry deadcat to help knock down wind noise. Good: I like that the microphone connects directly to the phone so if you’re using a cell phone mount that has an additional mounting point like 1/4 20 thread or a cold shoe you can use that extra mounting point for another accessory like a light. Good/Bad: This last point is a good and a bad point and that is the microphone is really hot and when I mean hot I mean it’s loud. This is great if you’re in a quiet place because you can whisper into the microphone and not disturb other people. Say your blogging inside of the museum it works really well like that however if you’re someplace that’s really loud like a concert or at a sporting event it's likely your audio is going to clip and be over modulated. However, you can go into other apps like FiLMiC Pro and adjust your audio manually when recording video. All in all this is a really nice microphone that I’m going to enjoy using. I don’t think Android gets enough love when it comes to filmmaking and vLogging and seeing a company like Saramonic provide filmmaking tools like this microphone for Android devices is a really nice thing and I look forward to using it and other products of theirs.
