To view a map showing all score-affecting secret areas on this level, access https://classicdoom.com/maps/d2secs/27.htm Here I take advantage of bug/exploit in the game where, if level design is just right and the player character is moving fast enough, an event-trigger line may get bypassed, like the teleport line at the south edge of the pad. Notes on the making of this video: The demo file (.Lmp file) was made with original vanilla v1.9 Doom2 .exe and .wad under DOS. For the YouTube video, that demo file was played back using the Crispy Doom source-port in order to have the 'Secret found' messages appear on-screen. In this example I'm playing keyboard-only, and doing a strafe-running maneuver with a little help from the wall-running exploit. Technically there are many combinations of player-character trajectory and facing that will work here, but many more that won't.
