You can experience 3500 years of Greek (Hellenic) history and development in one easy drive or tour from Athens 1st stop is the Bronze age site of the city state of The Mycenaean civilisation dating from about 1600bc, Mycenae, by Mykines about 90 minutes easy coastal drive from Athens in a hire car or organised tour.
