| Video Discription | Hello viewers, this lockdown has given us ample time to reminisce about the past and cherish some good memories. Back in 2019 when there was no trace of COVID-19, I was in my hometown Lucknow. With my family, I decided to visit this holy place Naimisharanya which is approximately 90kms away from Lucknow. This place has frequent mentions in Ramayana and Mahabharat and is believed to be the home of more than 80, 000 Rishis in ancient time when it was a forest. Naimisharanya means forest. Situated along the Gomti River in Uttar Pradesh, this place is divine and is also known as the sacred land of Ved and Purana. The place has holy significance and Hindus often visit this place for ceremonial purposes as well. I visited this place for the first time and seeing the crowd found it to be true. This place has some renowned temples or places of religious importance which are also the main attractions: • Chakratirth and various temples nearby • Sri Lalita Devi Mandir • Vyas gaddi • Hanuman Gadhi and Pandav kila • Dadhichi Kund • Dashashvamedh Ghat Each place has a story to it. However, I’m sure it’s decent enough to bring forth some information about the place and make you want to visit this place as and when possible. ----- 2019 में जब कोरोना से हम अपरिचित थे और कहीं भी स्वछंद घूम सकते थे, मैं अपनी फॅमिली के साथ नैमिषारण्य पहुंची. पार्किंग में कार पार्क करके, इ-रिक्शा की सवारी करते हुए हम प्राचीन मंदिर की ओर चल दिए. नैमिषारण्य में देखने के लिए कई पवित्र स्थान जैसे दशाश्वमेध घाट, हनुमान गढ़ी, दधीचि कुंड, पांडव किला, और व्यास गद्दी जैसे स्थल हैं इसलिए इ-रिक्शा कर लेने में ही समझदारी है।गोमती तट पर स्थित नैमिषारण्य पौराणिक समय के ऋषि मुनियों के तप का स्थल माना जाता है | नैमिषारण्य, जिसे नीमेसर, निम्सर या नीमखर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, लखनऊ से कुछ 90 km यानी दो घंटे की दूरी' पर है। यहाँ भगवान् विष्णु को समर्पित एक प्राचीन मंदिर है जिसकी काफी मान्यता है. ये एक प्रमुख तीर्थस्थल है और यहाँ देश भर से श्रद्धालु आते हैं. ऐसा माना जाता है एक समय में यहाँ 80000 ऋषि मुनि तप करते थे इसलिए इसे बहुत पवित्र माना जाता है. दशाश्वमेध घाट की सीढ़ियों से उतरते ही रंग बिरंगे खिलोने, अच्छी खासी'भीड़ और नदी में स्नान करते श्रद्धालु दिखे। और तो और खुली हवा में दाढ़ी बनवाते लोग भी। नैमिषारण्य का मुख्य आकर्षण केंद्र है चक्रतीर्थ जो एक गोलाकार यानी circular पोंड या तालाब है। पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार, ब्रह्मा ने पृथ्वी पर अपना चक्र घुमाया था और ऋषियों से कहा कि वह उस स्थान पर बस जाएं जहां वह रुका था। चक्रतीर्थ वो जगह है जहाँ उनका चक्र रुका था। ये तालाब कितना साफ रहता है वो तो मुझे नहीं पता क्योंकि मुझे बताया गया था की एक रात पहले किसी मेले की वजह से ये गन्दा था। पर क्योंकि इसका जल पवित्र है, मान्यता है तो लोग इसमें बेजिझक नहाते हुए भी दिखे. व्यास गद्दी मुझे बेहद ही सुकून वाली जगह लगी। कम भीड़, शांति और घना बरगद या banyan का पेड़ है. कहते हैं ये 5000 साल से भी ज्यादा पुराना बरगद का पेड़ है जिसके नीचे महर्षि वेद व्यास ने हिंदू धर्मग्रंथों जैसे वेद, शास्त्र और पुराणों का वर्णन किया है। नैमिषारण्य में कई प्राचीन मंदिर हैं, और हनुमान गढ़ी उनमें से एक है। यहाँ का मुख्य आकर्षण एक भगवान हनुमान की मूर्ति है जो भगवान राम और लक्ष्मण को अपने कंधे पर लेकर चलते हुए दर्शाती है । यहाँ पर प्रशाद के रूप में आपको झुक कर पीठ पर हनुमान जी की गदा से आशीर्वाद दिया जाता है। नैमिषारण्य में एक नया और बहुत ही खूबसूरत विष्णु मंदिर भी है | यहाँ पर विष्णु जी की विशाल मूर्ति स्थित है, शिवलिंग और अन्य देवी देवताओं की मूर्तियां भी हैं। इस मंदिर का आर्किटेक्चर आपको साउथ इंडिया के मंदिर की याद दिलाता है. मंदिर के आखरी छोर पर एक विशाल दुर्गा माता की मूर्ति है जो जीवंत लगती है। नैमिषारण्य आज भी ऋषि मुनियों की तपोभूमि है और अगर आपको उत्तर प्रदेश जाने का मौका मिले, तो यहाँ जाना मत भूलिएगा. ---- Subscribe to my channel and press the bell icon to stay notified about my new videos!
