The concept of Natürlich German is based on Dr. Stephen Krashen's second language acquisition theory, in which one uses comprehensible input to acquire a language, rather than 'learn' it. What's comprehensible input? Comprehensible language input can be either listening or reading content in your target language that is easy and comprehensible enough to understand at any level. This type of input uses slow speech, visual cues (gestures, pictures, etc.), familiar content, anything that engages you and where your brain is able to make connections to what is being said.
