| Video Discription | This session was part of the 2021 Emerging Technologies in Peacebuilding and Prevention Virtual Practitioners Workshop hosted by the NYU Center on International Cooperation on December 1-2, 2021. In this session, the participants will learn about how current technologies and digital tools can help peacebuilders and humanitarian actors in evaluating the nature of polarization, misinformation/disinformation, conflict drivers and hate speech online. The session will start with an opening about Build Up's experience working on the Commons Project in the USA, where interventions were designed to counter online hate speech and polarization online without access to these tools, followed by an intervention from datavaluepeople about what technologies and tools are available to us today.
