| Video Discription | I know exactly what it was like as a beginner walking into the gym for the first time. It was confusing, overwhelming, scary, and even intimidating. If I had to go back to being a beginner, here is exactly what I would do to make it easier for myself: First, I would keep it really simple. None of this is rocket science. I would just join a gym, any gym, walk-in, and start to get familiar with everything; the machines, the weights, the environment, the people there. All of it. Even if I didn't train the first time in there, I would start to become comfortable with the idea of it. I would start with a very simple three-day split; push, pull, legs. That's it. Technically, it's all you'll ever need, even at advanced stages, but it's definitely all you're going to need in the beginning. Take very simple, basic movements, practice them, work at them, master them. Learn to develop a mind-muscle connection while you train. You're not just moving weight; you're contracting weight, and that's going to require a mental connection to really do it to its potential. Once you become more skilled, all of this stuff becomes second nature, and you won't even have to think about it. Remember, people in the gym are not your enemies. That's a myth. If you need help, look for the most skilled men and women in there (they will be easy to spot), and ask them for help. I promise they will be happy to assist you. Don't forget to have fun.
