| Video Discription | We put all our skills and energy into quick and painless rescues to minimize stress to the entangled animal. They are already compromised from limited mobility, undernourishment and injury, and they should not have to suffer any second longer. In most cases, we can cut the entanglement and gently remove it, and the animal is free to go. But once the seal's skin has grown over an entanglement, our job gets a lot harder and we have to become field surgeons to make sure nothing gets left behind on the wound.
