This is the European Wine Cask Matured version of this special whisky. Bruichladdich's Octomore series includes the most heavily peated scotch whiskies on the market (by measuring the phenol PPM of the barley). This cask strength (57.7%) Octomore 14.2 is matured in Oloroso and Amarone Italian wine casks for 4 years, then finished for a year in Pauillac French wine casks.
