| Video Discription | A prisoner, who is much loved by his inmates and police officers, gets parole after spending eight years in jail. How the communist and the model family man ends up in prison and how he tries to mend his severed relationships within the ticking parole-time form the plot. Parole isn't a complete jail based flick as it traverses through the various stages of Alex's life. To be frank, the sequences in the prison didn't look convincing although Mammootty's performance saved many of the sequences. Parole has its moments, especially in the form of Mammootty's soul-stirring performance as Sakhavu Alex. But, the film doesn't rise above that. The film isn't a must watch but still, not a bad one either.
