| Video Discription | In this video I show how prepare current accounts for partnerships. Current accounts show the partners' earnings and withdrawals from the partnership and are used to facilitate keeping the partners' capital account balances fixed. I show three (3) different formats for the current accounts - - a t-account for each partner, - a shared t-account housing all partners' information, and - a vertical t-account that can be used in the balance sheet's capital section. I also show the balance sheet's (statement of financial position's) capital section with the capital and current account balances without the current account details and I also show an example with the current account details.
