Due to a seizure disorder I have, Magnus is task trained to he helps mitigate my medical condition. He is able to accomplish this what traditional medicine could not and for that, I will always be eternally grateful. “Check-In” is one of the tasks that I trained Magnus to do. It serves two functions. One is for him to make sure that I am doing ok. The other is for me to always know that I have him close by if I need him. This task started out as as verbal command initiated by me, but has now progressed to where Magnus performs it on his own without ever being asked.
