No one, let alone Petco should sell baby betta fish. At this point in their lives selling them, especially selling them in a cup at this age will certainly cause a great deal of stress that could lead to death. Also, they are too small to eat the generic "betta pellets" and a lot of them are then starved to death or they have serious organ damage because of this. 90% of the bettas sold at Petco end up in a bowl or a tank way too small for them because that is what a lot of employees think is correct. Baby bettas this young are also very fragile and need the proper everything, which Petco nor will the person who buys them will provide (most likely). I understand that me buying them is not helping but it is helping these 5. Just because you can't save them all doesn't mean you shouldn't save any.
