As already a very talented Chinese flutist in 2013 Wang majored in the flute at the most well-known university for music and arts in China, The Central Conservatory of Music, under the prominent professor, Han Guoliang, who is considered to be the most prominent flute player and educator in the country and obtained the master’s degree few years later. After graduating from the university, he continued to pursuit his career as a flutist and piccolo player winning some of the most recognizable awards at flute contests and making remarkable achievements both nationally and internationally. Now he plays the piccolo at the China National Symphony Orchestra, the biggest orchestra band in China, and teaches many students across China the flute and the piccolo, dedicating himself to the entire flute community in the country. In this video, Wang introduces the Pearl piccolo, PFP-105E/OM-EH, which he plays for his performance as well as for teaching.
