| Video Discription | The unmedicated quick positive birth story of my second son, Chase Danger. After my first home birth attempt ended in an emergency visit to our hospital and 36hrs in labor, I craved redemption. When I became pregnant with my second son, it took months to heal the wounds that the first birth left in my mind. It was not until my third trimester that I decided to skip the hospital and do a private birth center. My midwife was confident that this birth would be a complete 180 from my first and I would be successful in an unmedicated birth. Her assurance in me is what built my confidence going into labor. That fueled me to have a QUICK positive unmedicated birth of my second son. Training with hypnobirthing and meditation helped me stay calm and positive throughout my labor. Having lots of physical tools to access relieved me when I needed it. Some of my birth notes included estimated baby large for gestation, 2.5hr active labor, 30 min pushing, bulging water bag, tight & short umbilical cord, no obvious sign of transition, no “ring of fire” and no tearing.
