He's getting into BJJ but feels like he's having a lot of issues with the grips in the Gi. He was wondering if I had any particular Gi specific grip set ups for Wrestling Based takedowns. This is a pretty common issue for former Wrestlers who transition into Gi Jiu-Jitsu, so it's a great question to answer. In this video I show you my favorite "Wrestling Style" takedown and set up that I use in the Gi. It also works well in No-Gi.
