| Video Discription | Welcome to a Rail Town Productions film, in this film we feature: Queensland Rail’s 2901 on its first ever passenger duties running out and back from Charleville! The “Westlander” service operates twice weekly however ,due to planned Easter shut downs, it was pushed back a day early for the week. Therefore instead of running out of Brisbane on Tuesday and Thursday nights, it was scheduled out on Monday and Wednesday, retuning on Wednesday and Friday. 2901 first entered the mainline after being overhauled, with its previous number being 2413 on 17th December 2022 as seen here: https://youtu.be/MPd6JkXcWsA But now 2901 has finally had its’ chance to do what it was planned for: Long Distance Passenger Trains.
