Water from small streams in the vaikom town and nearby villages reaches this canal and falls into Vembanatu backwater. In the past, the goods brought from Kochi by boat were unloaded near this canal. A market also functioned near this canal. This canal has beautiful big trees on both sides. It is a beautiful sight. It was shot on a heavy rainy day. It was a day with widespread rain and waterlogging in Kerala. I have got wet in rain when I was shooting this video.
