He does not believe in God. In an effort by the government to demolish the Ram Setu, Aryan is asked to draft a report on the Ram Setu. He initially rejects it because he does not have concrete evidence of Ram Setu but accepts it after he is promised a promotion. Hence, he submits a report on the Ram Setu, where he states that "Ramayana is an epic fiction, not history." He questions the existence of Ram. Thus, he is met with complete hostility. In court, the government is humiliated by the report as it questions the existence of Ram, and the public is furious. The consequences lead to Aryan getting suspended temporarily. In school, Aryan's son is bullied by his classmates who say his father is "Ravan" because he does not believe in the "Ramayana or Ram" Feeling ashamed, he punches the other kid, and Aryan's parents are called to the principal's office. Where the boy's parents also show hostility towards Aryan. Meanwhile, Aryan has also got an offer from a rich businessman Indrakant who wants the Ram Setu demolished for his good. He tries to persuade Aryan to join an archaeological exploration and research of Ram Setu. He rejects it fearing more hostility from the public but after the incident with his son, he decides to prove to everyone the "Truth". Aryan hence, accepts the mission and meets fellow scientists who are with him on the mission. He meets the gorgeous Dr. Sandra Rebello and Dr. Gabrielle. Initial research shows that Ram Setu is 18000 years old which is much older than Ram himself who according to most was born more than 7000 years ago. This was not enough for Aryan so he decides to bring another floating rock from Ram Setu and use carbon dating to find its age he also visits deep underwater and finds coral reefs. This further investigation starts to prove that Ram Setu is indeed man-made, about 7000 years ago, and has a possibility of Ram Setu being built by Ram. He reports this to Indrakant who appreciates Aryan's impartiality towards the mission. However, internally Indrakant just wanted the proof that Ram Setu is just older than Ram and hence it is not built by Ram so that they can demolish the structure and save money and fuel for their project. Hence he decides to get the 3 killed. On another mission to extract more rocks from Ram Setu, Dr. Gabrielle, Dr. Sandra Rebello, and Aryan go deepwater. Suddenly their, submarine stops working and they get stuck, with low oxygen levels, they desperately try to escape, meanwhile, Indrakant's men are happy about this development and want the 3 killed. The 3 manage to escape with the help of a man on a boat named AP. He rescues the 3 and takes them to a remote island where he agrees to their cause. He says that he will help them out on the cause and charge after the mission. In the end Aryan is able to prove that Ram Setu was indeed Man-made and the story of Ramayana is true, Ram could have existed and come to the conclusion that AP was not an ordinary human but Hanuman himself.
