Featuring a Fender Rhodes Suitcase electric piano multi-sampled in detail with round robins in 9 velocity layers. This instrument brings the perfect electric piano sound to any modern style that puts vibe above all else. Whether you are looking for the smooth pads and colorful harmonies of house, the timeless ambience of drum&bass or the dusty flavors of hiphop, this is the instrument.

The preset library includes several variations of the Rhodes electric piano sound:

Motion - sounds that are perfect for colorful and quick moving chords where you need fog and smoke without losing the details in a cloud of reverb. Perfect for hiphop & neosoul flavors.

Grand - sounds that feature a unique take on the Rhodes stereo image. Simulating the way a grand piano sounds when sitting on the piano bench in front of middle C; the lowest notes are panned to the left and the highest notes are panned to the right, with gradual panning in between. These sounds are a perfect way to bring an organic stereo element to the mix.

Ambient - sounds that are perfect for letting one chord fill up the whole texture of a track. By taking advantage of delay and reverb, these presets transform the vintage flavor of the Rhodes into beautifully modern sine wave purity. Perfect for letting a chord or melody levitate over a driving breakbeat, a house vamp, or downtempo groove.

Swell - a slow attack is applied to the samples creating dramatic volume shaping.

Cloud - the Rhodes samples are played with a slow attack and long release resulting in an ethereal pad sound that blurs the line between Rhodes and synth. 

I made this instrument and accompanying presets with the goal of creating a Rhodes instrument where every sound focuses on the moody, smokey, and dusty side of the electric piano.

ABLETON FEATURES:

Filtered - sounds that make use of Ableton's Auto-Filter. Focusing on the low pass, band pass and morph filter, these sounds maintain the ambience of modern styles while allowing for pulsing and syncopated modulation through the tempo synced LFO. Great for adding a subtle funk to the smooth sound.

ADSR - sounds that allow for the Rhodes sound to transform into a Synth. The Macro controls provide instant access to the amplitude envelope of the samples. Manipulating the attack decay sustain and release launches the Rhodes sound into entirely new realms.

LoFi - sounds that lean into the LoFi with tape warble, wow, flutter, and noise.

Many of the presets include a "Random Pan" feature which randomly pans every key each time you play it. This brings another unique stereo element to the instrument.

All of the presets are configurations of the often extensive Macro controls. Using these controls you will intuitively and instantly be creating your own presets and making the library your own.
