UK Garage Project File

This project file contains all the primary elements of a contemporary UK Garage track. 

In terms of sound design, I strove to emulate the sounds heard in Fred Again’s Delilah. Priority was placed on the heavy side-chain compression that glues the drums, bass, and piano parts together. 

Made entirely with stock Ableton Live Instruments and Effects.

Note: Requires Ableton Live Suite version 11.0.12 or later. 

This project file used in combination with this free tutorial, will provide ample insight into how to create your own ideas using this framework.

I have arranged this project so that each section is played only once instead of a full song structure. This will make it easier to modify and expand this project file into an original track of your own.
