Days of Our Lives returns with fresh scripts from head writer and showrunner, Ron Carlivati. After a lengthy hiatus due to the writers' strike, Carlivati is back to steer the NBC Peacock drama and promises a shake-up in the storylines.
The showrunner revealed spoilers for the upcoming episodes of DOOL, including Gabi Hernandez's (Cherie Jimenez) prison release and Eric Brady's (Greg Vaughan) paternity drama involving Nicole's son, Jude. Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) is also in the spotlight as the false heir to Victor Kako Fortune.
Carlivati also shares his enthusiasm for writing the explosive storyline of Teresa Donovan (Emily O'Brien) being outed as a liar and a forger, and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) reclaiming his birthright. He also hinted at the upcoming wedding of Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) to Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) and the murder mystery of Li Shin (Remington Hoffman).
In a heartfelt tribute, the 15,000th episode of Days of Our Lives will coincide with the funeral of Doug Williams (Bill Hayes), in honor of the late actor. The showrunner thanked loyal fans for their support and encouraged those who stopped watching during the strike to tune back in. With the return of Ron Carlivati, the beloved soap opera promises to be packed with intense drama and unexpected twists.

In an exciting twist on the ABC soap opera, General Hospital, characters Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may take their alliance a notch higher. The duo, known for their undeniable chemistry and clandestine encounters, are treading the waters of a potential political marriage, much to the chagrin of their ex-partners, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
The plot thickens on GH as Drew, an ex-seal turned businessman, considering a congressional run, could benefit from Nina's affluent background and connections. This unlikely union could pave the way for a glamorous political spectacle that would irk many, notably Carly and Sonny. With Drew's potential run for congress, this could also explain Mathison's intermittent absence from the soap due to his multi-picture deal with Great American Media.
The development of their relationship, from enemies to potential lovers, adds an interesting dynamic to the show. However, the prospect of their marriage and Drew's political aspirations has left viewers wondering how their decision would affect the other characters on General Hospital. Only time will tell how this intriguing storyline will unravel.

In an unexpected twist for the CBS soap, Young and the Restless, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) may be in the grip of an evil twin plot. Her close friend, Dr. Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins), has been suspected of being involved in Ashley's trauma and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Viewers have now been given confirmation that there's something suspicious about this character. Clues appear in the episode aired on May 30th suggesting that Alan might have a doppelganger who's causing Ashley's trauma.
Ashley's past link to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and her return to Genoa City play a crucial role in this storyline on YR. Tucker happens to be in Paris, dealing with a coup by Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) at his company, Glaad. The plot thickens when Tucker encounters a man who looks like Alan, but acts entirely differently, hinting at the possibility of an evil twin.
This twist could be an homage to a mid-nineties storyline where Ashley was deceived by an evil twin, leading her to flee to Paris. Fans are looking forward to seeing this storyline unfold and speculating on its possible outcomes. Eileen Davidson's performance is winning praise and viewers are excited to see the upcoming developments on Young and the Restless.

The CBS soap Bold and the Beautiful is set to spin viewers into a whirl of love triangles. With the potential for three unfolding simultaneously. The showrunner, Brad Bell could be steering the storyline towards the complicated relations. This may be involving characters like Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz), RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman), Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada), and Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park), stirring up the drama.
Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Poppy Nozawa's late-night sofa rendezvous sparks rumors of Luna's paternity, with Katie Logan (Heather Tom) hovering nearby. Meanwhile, the simmering romance between Katie and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) adds another layer of complexity.
Another love triangle emerges with the return of Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), the mother of Finn, causing an uproar between Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope Logan. The tension escalates when Hope (Annika Noelle) encourages Finn to stand up to Steffy, while Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) eyes the opportunity to win back Steffy. Moreover, the possibility of Finn (Tanner Novlan) getting entangled with Hope while his marriage to Steffy is on the rocks adds to the drama.
The return of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) in June adds another element of intrigue, with Hope juggling her feelings for Thomas and Finn. As the tension mounts, viewers are left to speculate on the outcome. However, these potential love triangles are not guaranteed, leaving fans eager for the unfolding drama on Bold and the Beautiful.

General Hospital star Johnny Wactor, known for his role as Brando Corbin, has tragically passed away in real life, echoing the heartbreaking storyline of his on-screen character. Wactor, who joined the cast of General Hospital in 2020, was loved by fans for his role as the nice-guy garage owner and husband of Sasha Corbin.
His character was the first fatality of the infamous hook killer, a plotline that left many fans upset over his departure from the show. His final appearance was on October 10th, 2022, when the residents of Port Charles gathered for Brando's funeral.
Now, the soap opera community mourns the loss of Wactor, who senselessly lost his life in a violent act of crime.
