Meet the Kenyan mechatronic engineer turned singer / songwriter / guitarist / producer & DJ based in Nairobi. BlvckMoon is self-taught as an artist. She seeks to elevate the heart, mind and soul through music. In her words, "It's in the expression and inspiration of the true self that we find resonance and sight of how connected we are." BlvckMoon considers her music Indie / Experimental / Afro-fused. She released her debut EP, "Hertz", in October 2018; an ethereal single titled "Breezy" - in collaboration with Djae, in November 2020; Afro-fused "Maua" - in collaboration with L3GS in March 2021; and most recently the Afro-fused "Mekatilili" in collaboration with Saint Evo in July 2021.
