| Video Discription | Over a single night, and with one lane still open to enable traffic to pass, ElectReon and their partners deployed 700 metres of Electric Road System (ERS) to support a 5km bus route in Tel Aviv. How it works: Deployed under the road, safe for drivers, pedestrians and wildlife, this new technology enables all EVs (that are fitted with a special Authorized Receiver) to charge seamlessly as they drive, idle, or park over the ERS. The pilot deployed in March 2021 and following the success of the pilot, in October 2021 new plans were announced to integrate wireless charging systems into 100 more electric buses, based in the Reading Terminal, situated in north Tel Aviv.
