Place your right hand down on the metal of the shaft, just below the grip of the club and take your club back as you normally would. Now as you bring the club down in what would be your downswing, note how fast the right hand needs to travel in contrast to the left hand in order to reach the release position, just before the follow through. This happens because your right hand is on a wider arc, which means it needs to travel a greater distance than the left hand, and therefore needs to travel faster. Practice this drill at home or at the range when you suspect that your right hand is getting lazy in the release of the club, resulting in an open clubface and in order to fix your golf slices. #golf #golfswing #golftips [tYdS89VRCYk] |
