Resep Ayam Goreng Hong Kong (untuk 6 porsi)
Bahan marinasi:
1 kg paha ayam
½ sdm garam
1 sdm gula pasir
½ sdm kaldu bubuk / penyedap
½ sdt merica
½ sdt bubuk ngohiong
1 sdm kecap hitam
2 sdm Royco Saus TIram
2 sdt minyak wijen
Bahan lainnya:
6 siung bawang putih
1 jempol jahe
2 sdm minyak
500 ml air
2 sdm maizena
Bahan sambal:
2 siung bawang putih
5 buah cabai keriting merah
10 buah cabai rawit merah
50 ml air
¼ sdt garam
1 sdt gula pasir
1 sdt cuka
Pelengkap:
Daun ketumbar
Nasi putih
Timun
Minyak bawang putih goreng
Langkah:
1. Marinasi ayam dengan kecap hitam, Royco Saus Tiram, garam, gula pasir, kaldu bubuk, merica, dan bubuk ngohiong aduk rata
2. Tambahkan minyak wijen, aduk rata. Diamkan selama 1-2 jam di suhu ruang
3. Untuk sambal, blender cabai rawit, cabai keriting, bawang putih, dan air kemudian masukkan ke dalam wajan
4. Tambahkan garam, gula pasir dan cuka, masak beberapa saat
5. Iris jahe dan geprek bawang putih
6. Panaskan minyak, tumis bawang putih, dan jahe hingga wangi lalu masukkan ayam beserta bumbu marinasi nya, masak sesaat
7. Masukkan air, masak selama 20-30 menit di api kecil lalu sisihkan ayam
8. Buang jahe dan bawang putih kemudian masukkan larutan maizena, masak sesaat hingga sedikit mengental
9. Panaskan minyak, goreng ayam di api sedang hingga kering, tiriskan
10. Ayam hongkong siap disajikan dengan pelengkap

Hong Kong Fried Chicken Recipe (yield 6 servings)
Marinade ingredients:
1 kg chicken thigh
½ tbsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
½ tbsp stock powder / MSG
½ tsp pepper
½ tsp five-spice powder
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp Royco Oyster Sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
Others:
6 clove garlic
1 thumb ginger
2 tbsp oil
500 ml water
2 tbsp cornstarch
Sambal ingredients:
2 clove garlic
5 pc curly red chili
10 pc red Thai chili
50 ml water
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp vinegar
Add-ons:
Cilantro
Rice
Cucumber
Garlic oil
Steps:
1. Marinate the chicken with dark soy sauce, Royco Oyster Sauce, salt, sugar, stock powder, pepper, and five-spice powder. Mix well.
2. Add sesame oil and mix well. Marinate for 1-2 hours at room temperature.
3. For the Sambal, blend Thai chili, curly chili, garlic, and water. Cook in a pan.
4. Season with salt, sugar, and vinegar. Cook for a moment.
5. Slice the ginger and pound the garlic.
6. Heat some oil. Sauté the garlic and ginger until fragrant, then add the chicken and marinade. Cook for a moment.
7. Add water. Cook for 20-30 minutes on low heat, then set the chicken aside.
8. Remove the ginger and garlic. Add the cornstarch mixture. Cook for a moment until it thickens a bit.
9. Heat some oil. Fry the chicken on medium heat until crisp. Set aside.
10. Hong Kong Chicken is ready to serve with the add-ons.
