| Video Discription | Hey all! Application and interview season is a very stressful event of our careers, especially as an IMG. Let alone the vague process of interview selection. I am a current applicant and I learned the importance of networking this season. In this video, I am sharing with you what I did to network landing me 3 interviews for IM categorical through connections! I’m also sharing what I did to get research opportunities and other perks of networking. I hope this can help some of you who are thinking of participating in the residency match! Note that there are a lot more ways to connect with other doctors (through conferences, etc.) and there is, of course, NO GUARANTEE of getting interviews through networking but I believe that this increases your chances of getting one and it is worth a shot!
