Her father’s name is Indrajit Chakraborty who is an army officer. Her mother is a housewife. She has a younger brother, Showik Chakraborty. Reportedly, she was in a relationship with the Bollywood actor, Aditya Roy Kapur. Later, there were rumours that she was dating the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput and were often spotted together. Reportedly, she was the last person whom Sushant had called before he committed suicide on 14 June 2020. In 2009, she participated in the MTV India’s reality show, ‘TVS Scooty Teen Diva’ and was the first runner-up in the show. She debuted in the Bollywood film, Mere Dad Ki Maruti, opposite Saqib Saleem. Some of her other Bollywood films are ‘Sonali Cable’, ‘Half Girlfriend’, ‘Bank Chor, and ‘Chehre. She has appeared in various TV commercials including Yepme, Stayfree, and Maruti Suzuki.
