| Video Discription | RapidPick XT’s palletizing and de-palletizing robot palletizes and de-palletizes totes using 2D vision to determine tote location and orientation, placing totes on the modular conveyor system to travel to the piece picking robot. The piece picking robot performs random piece picking using 2D and 3D vision for automated random bin picking. It picks individual items from the tote and places them on to the conveyor, continuing the process until the tote is empty. Once the product is placed on the modular conveyor system, it travels through the scan tunnel. It will scan the product on all sides to locate and read its SKU code in any orientation. The verification robot uses 2D and 3D vision for product verification and handling. Once verified, the robot will pick the identified items and place them into one of the four order totes at the Dematic Multishuttle station.
